This farmhouse kit was made by Duracraft in the mid
1970's. I purchased it directly from Duracraft in1990. I only got as far as building the shell. Shortly after that, we moved and I had to set the house aside. There simply wasn't room for it. I have been storing it at my mother's house since then. Last year I was finally able to make room for it and I brought it home. I have been busy wiring, painting & wallpapering ever since. I'm still not quite finished but getting closer all the time. I love this house. I have built several others and this one has much more detail than many kits I have seen and built.

I have made alot of my own miniature furniture from kits.
My favorite kits are made by a company called House of
Miniatures. They are very authentic and the quality of
the wood is excellent. The furniture pieces are beautiful when they are finished.
I also like kits made by a company called Chrysnbon very much. Their kits are plastic but very highly detailed. They look great when finished.
